He enjoys spending time with Candy, his wife of more than 30 years, and their five children.

Paul joined the company in 1996 as a member of the financial reporting team. He has since held various leadership positions with increasing responsibility including: Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, DISH; Director of Accounting; Vice President of Accounting; and Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. During his career, he has had key roles in significant debt offerings, acquisitions and divestitures including the “spinoff” of EchoStar Corporation in 2008. John joined the organization in 2007 and has served in increasing leadership roles during his tenure. He previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of DISH Wireless where he was responsible for all operational aspects of DISH’s wireless business, including the deployment and management of DISH’s virtualized, O-RAN 5G broadband network, its retail wireless business, and its day-to-day activities. John also has led as Group President of Retail Wireless, Chief Operating Officer, EVP of Operations, Chief Information Officer, and VP of Application Development. He spent the first 10 years of his career working in corporate finance for DISH and other Fortune 500 companies.

In 2009, Jeff relocated to Washington, D.C., from Denver to build the company’s public policy and regulatory office from the ground up. Since then, he has overseen advocacy across all of EchoStar's diverse business lines. Notably, in 2019, Jeff and his team secured the regulatory approvals required for the company's entry into the U.S. wireless market through the acquisition of Boost Mobile. For more than four decades, EchoStar has led the way in satellite technology, shaping global connectivity. EchoStar was founded on adventure and an unshakable desire to win. It’s what drove us to launch satellites into space when people said we couldn’t. To take on the world’s largest industrial corporation when people said we shouldn’t. And to connect millions of Americans to the TV they love when the cable companies wouldn’t.

Jeff graduated summa cum laude and first in his class at Boston University School of Law, where he was a Note Editor of the Boston University Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Classics. He makes his home in Sandy Spring, Maryland with his partner, Rachel, and daughter, Amelia.
